room pressure control 8636

SureFlow Room Pressure Controllers 8636

Product Details
The SureFlow™ Room Pressure Controller Model 8636 is an ideal digital controller for laboratories with fume hoods and are designed to actually measure the room pressure differential used to prevent chemical vapors from escaping outside the lab. This controller will modulate supply and general exhaust air flows to maintain laboratory ventilation and the room pressure differential, to comply with standards such as NFPA45-2000 and ANSI Z9.5-2003.

As a stand-alone device, the Model 8636 modulates the supply and general exhaust dampers to ensure proper pressurization. It will also maintain minimum supply volumes for ventilation (Air Changes Per Hour) and cooling and controls the temperature of the laboratory space, by modulating the reheat and the supply air volume
The Model 8636 easily integrates to the building management system using either alarm relays or digital communications. The Model 8636 supports the open MODBUS protocol.

Features and Benefits
•    Stand-alone pressure control provides system reliability
•    Direct pressure measurement provides continuous, closed-loop control
•    Audible and visual alarms warn staff if corrective action needed
•    Network communications allow for building-wide control efficiencies
•    Convenient keypad and display support local programming
•    Passwords prevent unauthorized access to controller functions

room pressure control 8682

SureFlow Adaptive Offset Controller 8682

Product Details
The TSI  SureFlow™ Adaptive Offset Controller Model 8682 is an excellent laboratory pressure controller, designed to maintain more exhaust from a laboratory than is supplied to it. This negative air balance helps ensure that chemical vapors cannot diffuse outside the laboratory, complying with requirements in NFPA 45-2000 and ANSI Z9.5-2003.
The SureFlow Model 8682 also controls the temperature of the laboratory space by modulating reheat and the supply air volume. Optionally, a room pressure sensor can be connected to the SureFlow Model 8681 controller to correct long-term changes in the building dynamics.
The Model 8682 easily integrates to the building management system using either alarm relays or digital communications. The Model 8682 supports the open MODBUS protocol.

Features and Benefits
•    Integrates temperature control into laboratory ventilation control
•    Optional LONworks communications
•    Stand-alone room pressure control provides system reliability
•    Flow tracking control ensures stability in the HVAC system
•    Audible and visual alarms warn staff of unsafe conditions

room pressure control 8682 ST

SureFlow Static Pressure Controller 8682-ST

Product Details
The TSI SureFlow™ Static Pressure Controller Model 8682-ST is designed to maintain constant duct static pressure in up to five independent ducts.
The 8682-ST measures the pressure differential using a pressure transducer. It is easily configured to accept different pressure transducer ranges, allowing it to be used for almost any duct.

The 8682-ST will independently modulate dampers or variable frequency drives to maintain the proper duct static pressure in up to five separate systems. If the any of the static pressures are too great or too small, the 8682-ST will activate audible and visual alarms. An adjustable alarm delay avoids nuisance alarms from short-term transient conditions.

The 8682-ST easily integrates to the building management system using alarm relays, an analog output of the measured static pressure, or digital communications. The Model 8682-ST supports the open MODBUS protocol.

Features and Benefits
•    Maintaining constant static pressure minimizes fan operating costs
•    Single controller for five systems minimizes installed cost of controls
•    Direct pressure measurement provides continuous monitoring
•    Audible and visual alarms warn staff of unsafe conditions
•    Easy communication to building management system
•    Convenient keypad and display support local programming
•    Passwords prevent unauthorized access to controller functions

Applications
•    Energy efficiency
•    Laboratory safety
•    Laboratory comfort

room pressure control 8681

SureFlow Adaptive Offset Controller 8681

Product Details
The TSI SureFlow™ Adaptive Offset Controller Model 8681 is an ideal digital controller for laboratories with fume hoods.

A stand-alone device, the 8681 ensures that the exhaust volume is always greater than the supply volume for negative spaces, and less than the supply volume for positive spaces. This negative air balance helps ensure that chemical vapors cannot diffuse outside the laboratory, complying with requirements in NFPA 45-2000 and ANSI Z9.5-2003.

The SureFlow 8681 also controls the temperature of the laboratory space by modulating reheat and the supply air volume. Optionally, a room pressure sensor can be connected to the 8681 controller to correct long-term changes in the building dynamics.
The 8681 uses TSI’s unique through-the-wall pressure sensor to provide closed-loop control of the pressure differential. The pressure sensor slowly resets the offset between the supply and exhaust flows.

The 8681 easily integrates to the building management system using either alarm relays or digital communications. The 8681 supports the open MODBUS protocol.

Features and Benefits
•    Stand-alone room pressure control provides system reliability
•    Integrates temperature control into laboratory ventilation control
•    Flow tracking control ensures stability in the HVAC system
•    Direct pressure measurement provides continuous, closed-loop control
•    Audible and visual alarms warn staff of unsafe conditions
•    Network communications allow for building-wide control efficiencies
•    Convenient keypad and display support local programming
•    Passwords prevent unauthorized access to controller functions

Applications
•    Laboratories with fume hoods
